Recent history

This plot is owned since 2017. When aquired the trees were in bad shape due to maltreatment from the previous owner but with hard work it is now in much better shape. The plot about 15 years ago  was irrigated by an open rainwater collection pond which is not functional any more.

Future plans

What we would like to achieve is to repair the rainwater collection pond and the irrigation system in order to irrigate and reduce the alternate bearing effect. Furthermore we plan to repair the 2 small building in order to use them for the needs of the grove.

Olive oil characteristics

The extra virgin olive oil that we get with early harvest from this plot has its own character. It has a medium fruity flavor with delicate bitterness and spiciness. At the same time other than the characteristic variety's aromas of green tomato leaves and almond someone can  find out more nut aromas.
